Multiplayer Word Game for Friends
WordWarz is an online competitive word-guessing game built for multiplayer play. Instead of solving a puzzle alone and comparing results afterward, you and your friends guess the same five-letter word in the same room, at the same time, and the best score wins.

A multiplayer Wordle-style game keeps the core idea of Wordle – guess a hidden five-letter word, with each guess telling you which letters are right – and adds other players competing on the same word. Wordle itself is a once-a-day solo puzzle; you share a result grid afterward. In a multiplayer version the competition happens while you play.
How WordWarz multiplayer works
- One word, one room. Everyone in the room guesses the same hidden word each round. You get six guesses and can see how your opponents are doing as they play.
- Faster and sharper scores more. Solving earns a base score plus bonuses for using fewer guesses and for finishing with more of the round clock left, so a quick solve beats a slow one.
- Three modes. Classic (5 rounds, highest total score wins), Blitz (10 short rounds), and Elimination (the lowest scorer is knocked out each round until one player is left).
- Optional twists. Mirror Match gives every player the same opening guess so luck on the first word is removed. Hardcore requires you to reuse every green letter. Items add power-ups and sabotages for chaos.
- Casual or ranked. Casual rooms are for fun. Ranked matches move a rating for each mode and show up on leaderboards.

Create a room, then send the invite link or the room code. Friends open it, join your lobby, ready up, and the host starts the match. You do not need an account to join a casual game – sign in with Google or Apple only if you want to keep progress and play ranked. Prefer strangers? You can browse public rooms and jump into one. More detail is on the play with friends page.

Can I play WordWarz with friends?
Yes. Create a room, share its invite link or room code, and your friends join the same lobby. Public rooms can also be browsed and joined.
Do players solve the same word?
Yes. In each round everyone in the room is guessing the same hidden word, and the server marks every guess so nobody sees the answer early.

Is WordWarz free?
Yes, WordWarz is free to play.
